Of Counsel

Profile

In Memoriam: 1979-2021

We mourn the passing of our friend and colleague. Tyler’s passion for his work, his easy smile, and his substantial talent and skills led to not only professional success but valued relationships with his colleagues, clients and even adversaries.

Before joining SBW, Tyler was partner in the litigation boutique Peterson Baker P.S., where he successfully prosecuted a wide variety of commercial and civil claims. Tyler began his career in antitrust and securities litigation at Heller Ehrman, and then honed his skills at Perkins Coie where he focused on patent, trade secret and intellectual property litigation. Tyler was a magna cum laude graduate of the Seattle University School of Law.

Before the law, Tyler was a commercial fisherman in Bristol Bay, Alaska, and grew up living on a sailboat on Bainbridge Island. He was a devoted husband to his wife Jennifer and their three children. He is, and will be, sorely missed.
